The Planning Approvals Department processes development applications made to the County, including subdivision applications under Section 51 of the Planning Act, condominium applications under Section 9 of the Condominium Act, 1998, and part-lot control by-laws under Section 50(7) of the Planning Act.

Condominium Exemptions:
The planning Approvals Department processes applications made to the County under Section 9 of the Condominium Act, 1998 for an exemption from the full planning review that would normally apply under section 51 and 51.1 of the Planning Act before a condominium description or an amendment to a description could be registered.
