Help us better understand your Internet needs!

The Government of Ontario has contracted with a consulting firm, (SNG), to perform the program evaluation of the Rural Connections Broadband Program.

An initiative is being carried out by Strategic Networks Group SNG on behalf of the Ontario Government to design and assist in the deployment of an Online Impact Tracking Tool that will be used to measure the socio-economic impacts of broadband (i.e. high-speed Internet).

Two surveys are being made available (one for households and one for businesses and other organizations). The survey questions are targeted at collecting data and opinions directly from broadband users (businesses and citizens) on their current and planned use of the Internet and the benefits they receive from broadband use. The surveys typically take 10-12 minutes to complete.

The survey data will be captured in a database on secure servers accessible only by those who have authorized access. The results derived from analysis of the survey response data will be reported in aggregate only. No individual responses will be provided whereby the individual or organization that provided the response can be identified.

Survey respondents will be asked to provide consent for their responses to be used in confidence and for reporting in aggregate.
