DESCRIPTION:There will be a new sound in the air this summer as musicians prepare to perform at the inaugural ‘Tunes on the Tay’ music series to be held Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the Perth ‘Terrace on the Tay’ riverside landing on historic Mill Street. Local music lovers and summer visitors alike are invited to enjoy these free 2-hour open-air performances that will feature local solo artists\, duos\, trios and bands in a relaxed and informal setting along the banks of the Tay. \n‘Tunes on the Tay’ kicks off Wednesday\, June 24th featuring upcoming local performer Julien Groulx at 6:30pm\, followed by Perth favourite Matt Dickson at 7:30pm. The 10-week series runs each week until Wed. August 26th unless extended by rain dates. Shows are free and the Terrace is fully wheelchair accessible. Local music lovers and summer visitors alike are invited to enjoy these free 2-hour open-air performances that will feature local solo artists\, duos\, trios and bands in a relaxed and informal setting along the banks of the Tay. \n‘Tunes on the Tay’ kicks off Wednesday\, June 24th featuring upcoming local performer Julien Groulx at 6:30pm\, followed by Perth favourite Matt Dickson at 7:30pm. The 10-week series runs each week until Wed. August 26th unless extended by rain dates. Shows are free and the Terrace is fully wheelchair accessible.
