40 Artists Along a Riverbank
Outdoor Artisan Show, all three days of Labour Day Weekend, in Maberly
Celebrating its 19th year, the Sundance Artisan Show is an outdoor art show featuring 40 artists in a beautiful plein air setting in Maberly. Peppered across two acres of forest, field, and riverfront, will be a diverse group of artisans specializing in various art forms: pottery, wood, metal, stained glass, soaps, fibre, jewelry, clothing, blown glass, and many more. The artists have been working hard over the year, and are again ready to present to you their wonderful creations. The setting is ideal for relaxing while shopping for the perfect gift for that special someone. Feel free to grab a chair, and enjoy sitting by the beautiful Fall River adorned with old mill ruins.
You’re in for an extra treat this year – literally! This year’s event will be catered by celebrated local chef Tim Cota from Tichborne. His prestigious red-seal certification praises his culinary prowess, so visitors can expect tasty, homemade treats on hand.
As always, parking and entrance are free. (Donations welcome.) The event takes place over all 3 days of the Labour Day long weekend (Aug 30, 31, Sep 1) at 126 Maberly Elphin Rd, Maberly (at the intersection of HWY 7 and County Rd 36). Hours: Sat. & Sun. 10am-5pm; Mon. 10am-2pm.
