Invasive Species
Invasive species are plants, animals, and micro-organisms introduced by human action outside their natural past or present distribution whose introduction or spread threatens the environment, the economy, or society, including human health.
Turtles
Turtles play an important role to clean and maintain pond, river, and lake ecosystems, but in Ontario, our 8 turtle species are at risk of extinction. Slowdown in turtle crossing zones and watch for turtles crossing the road during nesting season in May and June.
