Lanark County administers and funds licensed child care services under the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) program, aiming to make care more affordable and accessible for families. Children’s Services support families, children and licensed child care programs by providing:
- CWELCC funding for approved licensed child care providers under the provincial Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA).

- Wage enhancement to CWELCC licensed child care operators.
