Community Home Support of Lanark County presents the 3rd Annual Butterfly Release event in Stewart Park, Wednesday, August 19th with registration beginning at 5pm.

This is a free community event, a chance to offer remembrance and grief support for those missing a loved one. Attendees must pre-register to receive a Painted Lady Butterfly, with the release taking place at 6pm sharp. The Painted Lady Butterfly is significant; it’s believed when you make a wish and release a butterfly, it carries your thoughts skyward to someone who is no longer with us. This event is very well attended so please pre-register and arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Please note there is very limited parking on Market Square – attendees are advised to park in the Tay Basin Parking Lot and walk across the street to the park.
