For over 35 years, the Perth Autumn Studio Tour has welcomed visitors into the creative spaces of artists working in the countryside just west of Perth, Ontario. Every Thanksgiving weekend, local makers, craftspeople, and artists open their rural studios for two days of conversation, connection, and discovery.

The tour began when a small group of craftspeople sought a more authentic way to share their work. After years in large, fast‑paced shows, we longed for real conversations, time to teach, and opportunities for guests to experience the places where our work truly begins. Visitors were always asking to see our studios, so we opened our doors and invited the public in. What started as a simple desire for connection has grown into a much‑loved annual tradition.

Today, guests can explore a wide range of fine art, pottery, textiles, jewellery, woodworking, metalcraft, and unique handmade creations. Many artists offer demonstrations and in‑studio insights, giving visitors a rare glimpse behind the scenes. More than 1,500 people join us each year to wander scenic country roads, discover new work, and meet the artists who shape this vibrant community.

The Perth Autumn Studio Tour remains artist‑run and deeply rooted in community and craftsmanship. We value sustainability, slow craft, and the relationships that form when people gather around handmade work and creative process.
