Almonte Fair Light Horse Show Returns – SEPTEMBER 12
ALMONTE – Come celebrate the 166th Almonte Fair, September 11 – 13, 2026. Saturday September 12th continues celebrating our rural traditions and heritage with the Light Horse Show. This event offers an encouraging environment for horses, riders, and enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels.
The action kicks off at 9:00 AM at the Almonte Fairgrounds, located at 195 Water Street, Almonte, ON.
Spectators can enjoy Pay One Price Admission (Full Access Pass) – which includes unlimited midway rides! Highlights include halter, English, Western and bareback riding, water games and a crowd-favourite costume class.
Riders can enter for $30 for the day or $6 per class. The advance registration deadline is Thursday, September 5 at 9:00 p.m., after which a $10 late fee applies.
