Adopt-A-Road

Adopt-A-Road is a volunteer program that helps to create a cleaner environment and more scenic roads in our County.

Adopting a road may include:

Picking up litter
Spotting and reporting invasive plants and noxious weeds
Hand pulling and spading invasive plants and noxious weeds
Mowing and landscape planting

How to volunteer

You can submit an Agreement Form for approval, by email or mail to the Public Works Business Office. Agreements are in place for a two-year term and generally cover a 2 kilometer stretch of road. Volunteer groups must be a minimum of three people. The County will assist you in securing an adoptable stretch of county road. All volunteers must sign and submit an Indemnity Waiver.
